I love that books are such a personal thing – for me, Fahrenheit 451 becomes more and more relevant as time goes on. I first read it at school and it was fine, but nothing special. Now I have nothing but respect for it as properly visionary dystopian horror (book burning, always a horror for me).

I really liked the book when I read it as a teen. I was properly horrified. But, as time has gone on, other Dystopian novels have crawled under my skin with their relevance.
I’d probably read it again but, I just don’t love it like I did.
