Hello bookland, my name is Allie and I’m the mother of a sweet little boy and two beautiful little girls. I have a very sporadic list of hobbies that I’m sure you will see from my posts. I’m that person whose brain has 5 million tabs open at once so, hang on, it’s going to be one heck of a ride. I’m a voracious reader and love to learn new things. I believe a person’s education never ends and that every opportunity to learn something new should be thoroughly explored. I love the outdoors and hope to do plenty of traveling. I’m a huge animal lover and have drug my fair share of stray critters home with me from near and far.
I’m a firm believer in the power of kindness and do my best to spread that message through both my words and my actions.
One of my favorite things to do is to lay out a blanket under a nice big tree and crack open a book. A great book, a lazy breeze, the warm air surrounding me like a cocoon and the sounds of my beloved critters…..is there anything better? Getting lost in a story is one of the best things a person can experience. I think books, be it fiction or non enrich our lives in ways that we both understand and don’t. I am happy to have this opportunity to assist the voices of others in their quest to be heard.

Lovely about page and congratulations on your baby daughter. Love your comment about never too old for education! My grandfather was a voracious reader / learner all his life even until the last few days of his life at 93! Truly an inspiration…Your love of books seems to mirror my own and losing oneself in a book is the best!

Hello Allie! My name is Stephanie Barrington. I have been writing and publishing poetry and my memior. But, now I have written a new book that is non fiction in content.
